An Extraterrestrial DJ in search of the greatest NPR public radio station in the Galaxy has crashed landed in Southampton on the 4th of July and has hit his target, the WPPB radio Tower. Join in on the Village of Southampton Parade to see the Float in person. Don't miss our post parade party at the Southampton Arts Center from 12-3!
Singer/songwriter Inda Eaton (vocals/guitar), Joe Delia(keyboard), Michael Vinas (Bass), and Dave Giacone (Drummer) celebrate the Fourth of July and the successful journey of DJ spaceman on his search to find the greatest NPR station in the Galaxy. Joining them on the float are the 88.3 WPPB FM DJ's who are earth people who make this the greatest NPR radio station in the Galaxy: Bonnie Grice of Bonnie in the Morning, Michael Mackey of Long Island Morning Edition, Ed German of the Urban Jazz Experience and Friday Night Soul and Brian Cosgrove of the Afternoon Ramble. Spaceman DJ's discovery was imagined and made possible by East End artist, composer and designer, Adam Baranello, the creator of the Extraterrestrial Space Person and the rocket ship that brought him here. WPPB is Long Island's Only NPR public radio station and the Voice of the East End Community.
