Giving A Voice to the Community: Support WPPB with a Year End Donation

Dec 15, 2014

Tax Deduction Deadline is December 31, 2014

‘Tis the season of giving, AND we hope to give you a special reason to support WPPB, the only public radio station on Long Island. WPPB is a vital community resource that serves the entire East End community. We offer something for everyone with our local community focused programming featuring our well known and highly respected local program hosts; Bonnie Grice, of The Eclectic Café; Brian Cosgrove, of The Afternoon Ramble; Ed German of The Urban Jazz Experience and Friday Night Soul; Michael Mackey of Long Island Morning Edition and our specialty program hosts entertaining and informing you every day. We are a 24/7 eclectic mix of WPPB-originated programs, national programs from National Public Radio, American Public Media and selected programs from independent producers and public radio station colleagues across the country. Click here to donate.

This year we are highlighting our community partnerships with local musicians, artists, writers, actors, government officials and non-profit organizations from hospitals to animal shelters and arts organizations. Our live interviews and public service announcements with individuals, small, and large non-profit community organizations attracts audiences to their services, events and fund raising activities. Our efforts assist our partners in successfully improving the lives of our friends and neighbors. If we don’t provide this essential service, no one else will.

Join us by making a donation that helps to keep making a difference in the community. As a totally independent public radio station, WPPB is always searching for new and better ways to inform, entertain, engage and serve our communities. This independence demands that we fund-raise for every dollar we need for utility bills, NPR fees, the rent on our studio and offices, broadcast tower fees – everything!

And so, please respond generously with your tax-deductible year end contribution! Please send your donation via Mail, Phone (631) 591-7000, or Online. We will use it to help us with our financial needs and continue our support of our non-profit colleagues across the East End.

We wish you Happy Holidays and Merry Listening! Click here to donate.
