Dog Talk

Saturdays from 11am-12pm

DOG TALK® (and Kitties, Too!) originated on WPPB, where it has been on the air for 13 years and over 650 consecutive shows. This Gracie® Award-winning show (for “Best entertainment and information program on local public radio”), is produced and hosted by pet wellness advocate Tracie Hotchner. Each show features Tracie’s interviews with authors and pet experts from around the world, discussing far-ranging topics involving practical and philosophical issues regarding our relationships with dogs and cats.

Tracie's knowledge about every aspect of living with pets came from her background as an investigative reporter, which resulted in her encyclopedic resources: THE DOG BIBLE: Everything Your Dog Wants You to Know and the THE CAT BIBLE: Everything Your Cat Expects You to Know. Tracie has become known as a pet wellness advocate and a Thought Leader in canine and feline nutrition, in particular.

In 2013, after 7 years on Sirius/XM radio with her live weekly call-in show CAT CHAT® on the Martha Stewart channel, that channel was canceled- so Tracie launched her own pet talk podcast network, the Radio Pet Lady Network. Her 10 “delightfully informative” shows are each co-hosted by leading veterinarians and other pet experts, along with the weekly podcast of .DOG TALK®.
