Ed German, Host of Friday Night Soul on WPPB, Long Island's Only NPR Station is offering birthday parties on the air on WPPB. Your friends can tune in and participate from anywhere across the country. For a donation to the station, you can get a four hour party on WPPB from 8PM - 12PM hosted by Ed German on a Friday Night of your choosing (dates are subject to availability.) You send your playlist. Your friends can send you birthday wishes on Facebook which will be read aloud on the show. And you will have a special experience that will last a lifetime.

WPPB host Ed German (the Urban Jazz Experience and Friday Night Soul) will be appearing in “Deep Down in Brooklyn: An American Story”. The show will be presented by Ed German in conjunction with Boots on the Ground Theater on Tuesday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. at Guild Hall, 158 Main Street, East Hampton. Admission is free. (Directed by WPPB's Host Bonnie Grice.) Prior to the performance, the 1770 House, 143 Main Street, East Hampton, will offer a special $27 two-course, prix fixe dinner (provide the code JDTLab).
